You data is and will always remain yours. Insights complies with all laws and regulations relevant to data management.
Communication between your system, Floriday and Insights is well protected so that others cannot tap or change your data. Floriday and Insights use Transport Layer Security (TLS) to secure data while it is in transit. Among other things, TLS ensures that data in transit cannot be altered. TLS technology is extremely secure and used, for instance, for online banking.
Users notice very little of this. It is important that you use the latest versions of your operating system and web browser to ensure that TLS 1.2 is supported. Only then will your data be secure in transit!
In Insights, it is possible to see the prices of other growers. This feature in Insights only allows growers (not buyers) to compare their prices with other growers per auction group based on the average price, product and pot size/stem length.
We use this data to try to create a more level playing field, and put growers in a stronger position in relation to the trade. Buyers who visit the clock daily are continuously informed of all prices per grower. For many growers this is often impossible to keep up with. With Insights, growers now have faster access to this public information. If they are contacted by a buyer, they have all the necessary insight directly at hand.
This information is currently also available to everyone. If you were to visit the clock daily, or have a Clockview subscription, you would also have access to this information. We are just communicating it more clearly.
The transparency of the data is in compliance with the information policy of Royal FloraHolland.
Buyers can only see growers’ data that has been made public or published by the grower in question. For example, if a grower assigns supply to FloraMondo, the buyers connected to FloraMondo will see this supply. Buyers have no access to information such as transaction data between the grower and other buyers, or historical price information relating to the grower.

Insights does not the show figures or turnover of other growers. Only the average price of other growers is shown in the clock report. Your own turnover is not visible to other growers.
